Why Do I Need A Pool Inspection?

Equipment

Ensuring that the equipment is running efficiently is critical when looking at the overall condition of the pool. The pool itself may be meeting the standards but if the equipment is not in the proper condition, you may be looking at unforeseen repairs in the future. Our certified pool inspector will inspect the equipment and report on the current function at the time of the inspection and recommend any repairs that may be necessary, whether it be a general maintenance item or needs replacement.

Safety Areas

Safety areas will be inspected in and around the pool. Areas like fencing, alarms, locks and pool covers are just a few of the many items that will be looked at and reported on. Our report will include areas that are satisfactory, general maintenance items or unsatisfactory but we always recommend to check with your local/state regulations and insurance company on what is required by them.

Physical Condition

The physical condition of the pool is important and the inspector will look for areas that may be showing normal wear in tear or components that may be nearing the end of its lifespan. These areas include: decking, liner/shell, steps, ladders, drains and more.

Electrical and Plumbing

All electrical and plumbing components will be inspected as these are crucial areas that need to be functioning to make the pool to affectively work. The heater, pump, motors, filter, lines, connectors, lights, valves, bubbles in lines, leaks and more will be inspected. All items inspected will be reported on the condition as Satisfactory, General Maintenance Item or Unsatisfactory and will provide recommendations on repairs if necessary.
